What is a Battery Backup?
During a power outage, this device is used to power landline phones.
Why would an alarm sound?
After a few years, the batteries in these units will need replacing, an alarm will sound to alert you that it needs replaced. The alarm will also sound if the unit is unplugged or if the breaker has flipped.
What do I do if the alarm sounds?
Press and hold the ‘Alarm Silence’ Button for a few seconds. After this, call us at (423) 447-6815, and one of our team members will replace the battery.
